SAHAYOG
SAHAYOG, a non-profit voluntary organization, was started with the core belief that people who are socially marginalized have the right to participate in the decisions that impact their lives.
Starting in 1992, SAHAYOG was founded as a Society in Almora, but relocated to Lucknow in 2000, with a defined vision of working on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights of women and youth, as well as other social determinants of health like nutrition, gender based violence and food security.
SAHAYOG works with network partners, to employ a community-centered approach to inculcate leadership and resilience, strengthen partnerships, develop resources and provide technical support.
With over 31 years of experience, SAHAYOG’s work on Sexual and Reproductive Health rights, and working with men to end gender based violence, has emerged as a model for others.
